Quite cleverly, Armature have made few changes to the storyline, leaving it almost completely intact and focusing instead on translating the action segments into 1st person. The idea of going back and experiencing it all in VR was even more so. And so the idea of going back to 4, strongly considered to be not only the best Resident Evil game, but also one of the best games ever made, period, was exciting. It was also the last time I really touched a Resi game until the Resident Evil 2 Remake.
Despite Resident Evil 4 having had more than its fair share of re-releases over the years, I haven’t played it since its original release on the GameCube.
